June 23, 2012, 2:00-3:00 p.m. (Bellydance Basics, Cabaret style)

July 14, 2012, 2:00-3:00 p.m. Bellydance Basics, Classical Egyptian style)

Each workshop is separate/different; so students may wish to just take one, or take them all!

Mother-Daughter Workshop: Special workshop on Mother's Day weekend.
Mother-daughter pairs will enjoy a nice bonding experience while learning the ancient art of bellydance (with a modern twist) together in this workshop on Saturday, May 12, from 2-3 p.m. Various styles of bellydance will be introduced; as well as fun partner dancing! ALL AGES welcome. Other pairs of girls and/or women are welcome - you don't have to specifically be a mother-daughter pair to celebrate with us.
Special Mother's Day weekend rate: $30/pair ($20 if attending alone)

Bellydance Basics - Cabaret Style workshop: Beginner bellydance students (all levels welcome) will learn basic Cabaret style moves, using fun, upbeat music such as Arabic pop. This energetic style blends Classical Egyptian, American and other world dance styles. No experience necessary. Saturday, June 23, 2012. 2:00-3:00 p.m.
Workshop rate: $20

Bellydance Basics - Classical Egyptian style workshop: Beginner bellydance students (all levels welcome) will learn basic Classical Egyptian moves, using authentic Arab music and rhythms. Dancers will learn to line up their bodies with the beats of the drum, becoming one with the music. No experience necessary. Saturday, July 14, 2012. 2:00-3:00 p.m.
